This piece is part of a “system-voice” series of poems — written in the language of control, collapse, and doctrine. The voice isn’t human; it’s the system thinking aloud.

The natural state of the world is chaos, entropy
Reduces all systems to decay, but the enemy does not
Sleep—to surrender is death, and the only means of
Survival is Order, and Order must be imposed.
Weakness is punished by destruction—only
Design, of Strength built upon Strength,
Can create a Structure that will remain intact—
Without Hierarchy, everything collapses.
Survival depends on Order, and the means
Of enforcing Order is Obedience—without it,
There is only chaos and death, therefore,
Obedience is the Law, and the Law must be Obeyed.
Chaos is death, Order is Strength, and Strength
Defines Function—only Function grants Survival,
And Survival is contingent on Order, therefore
Survival is Order, and Order must be imposed.
